The Challenge

Where things stood

Martial arts club owners were running everything on spreadsheets, paper attendance, and disconnected tools. Belt progressions were tracked by hand, payments were inconsistent, and no existing gym software understood martial arts workflows like Kyu Dan belt ranking, grading exams, or curriculum based attendance.

What We Built

How we built it

Scope locked, build shipped, result proven.

AI Buddy built the whole platform, and AI is how a team this size shipped something this broad this fast. The build covers a full belt and rank system with Kyu Dan color mapping, a promotions page with eligible student tracking, attendance filtered by curriculum, belt, and role, a video library, push notifications, and subscription tier access control. Load testing before launch confirmed the platform sustained 800 concurrent users and handled 39,110 actions without a failure.

The Outcome

What it delivered

Martial Apps runs as a full SaaS platform with multiple subscription tiers. Clubs in Ottawa use it regularly today, with a wider Canadian rollout ahead. It reached them only after load testing showed it would hold.

Book a scoping call. We map the work in plain terms, agree the outcome, then fix the price. The AI DLC process and the adversarial verification we build with are the same ones your build gets.
